This sweet little peanut was born on January 1st. What a way to ring in the New Year!

It was the first time she wore little pants.

Myla already has a playmate. He watches her every move.

We took off her little hat to reveal beautiful dark hair.

I have known Kathy for around 5 years now. We met through a ride-share program when both of us were commuting to Vancouver for work and have kept in touch ever since. Kathy is a fitness studio owner, pilates instructor, personal trainer and a super savvy business woman. We spent many car rides plotting and scheming business ideas. Kathy, you have accomplished a lot in 5 years! Juan is also a personal trainer focusing on sports conditioning and athletics. Together, they make a great team.

I was pumped to be able to use my newly revamped chalk board sign. I keep on looking for new things to cover with chalk board paint. Really quite fun. That and spray paint which is so much easier than using a paint brush.

Most of the session was shot with the 50mm at 1.4. I usually avoid shooting wide open like that. However, I always love the results. This lens is like butter at 1.4.
