Aldergrove Family Photographer

* The boys cuddle up together to watch a little TV just before bed. Usually, Noah sits down and Mattias will bring the blankets, the sippy cups, the stuffies and get comfortable next to Noah. Then M tries really hard to watch TV for a couple of minutes, but just can’t last any longer.

* My curtains. Just from Ikea. I had my eye out for one of those double rods, so that I could do something soft and breezy and see-thru and something heavier and drapery-like over top. They are always a mess because of the kids: not quite open, not quite shut. But I love them. They are comfortable.

* At the mirror after a bath.

* Wandering around aimlessly with a sippy cup.

* Peek. BOO! Still a favorite game.

* For my birthday, a dear friend ordered me a custom bag. I could choose any fabric I wanted. I adore yellow but can not wear the color due to my complexion. It really doesn’t do anything for me. If you can’t wear it, then get a bag! The designer, Renee Zietsma (huntingdonhome (at) gmail.com), knew exactly what my style was based on some really vague and seemingly opposing ideas. And I believe that this bag is actually intended to be reversible as well (all the seams are hidden) with a super cute black and white scroll print inside. This bag is now a permanent fixture on my side. It’s perfect as a diaper bag (for kids my ages… probably not ideal for an infant-you might want more pockets, but I think she does a style like this too), library bag (you wouldn’t believe how many books you can stuff in there), shopping bag (for groceries), couponing bag (to hold my massive coupon book and flyers and wallet), casual purse (I take my coupon book wherever I go so this works really well for me), Bible study bag (yes, I feel that this is in a separate category of bags! My study Bible is enormous, plus all the other stuff you need to cart along, it all fits). If this sounds like your life… order one!!!

* Self portrait of us. This is what we look like every morning after our shower/bath. Glamorous? No. But it’s real and that’s what this project is about.
