Last week of February / First week of March » Aldergrove Family Photographer
Post #39 of personal project 52 weeks.
* Whenever I am on the phone, he begs for the phone too. He’s talking to Oma L. here.
* Waffles. A favorite around here. Especially when served with fresh fruit and whipping cream.
* I love this shot. The light. His expression. And the fact that he’s pulling on the massive rip in his jeans. In my favorite pair of jeans for him. He’s been wearing them since he was 8 months or so. I just cuffed them. Now they fit him perfect and they have massive holes in the knees.
* More chit chat with Oma.
* Small boy in a long hallway.
* Noah and I were extremely ill this week. Beyond tired. Lethargic. Sore. Achy. Sinus congested. Fever. Coughing. Barely functioning. Noah would nap in the morning and then again in the afternoon and go to bed at regular time. We were miserable. There is nothing like a knock-you-off-your-feet sick to make me so incredibly thankful for good health. So humbling.
* The line-up of stuffies. Starting from the left: baby, raffy, puppy (pillow), puppy and horse. All named by Mattias. He loves them all equally and fiercely.
* It was Art’s birthday through the misery. I managed to bake cupcakes and a nice dinner but it nearly killed me.
Rachel - so sweet! Love the one of Mattias with the stuffies 🙂 and sorry to hear you have been feeling so crappy! We got hit with that flu/cold a few weeks ago, and it’s a doozy! Hope you’re feeling better (oh, and belated happy bday to Art!)
Alicia Louwerse - I see glimpses of my boys in some of these shots 🙂
beplouwerse - Nice pitures again! Third picture looks like Art,cute to see him on the phone with Oma (Opa)
Maggie - Oh dear! We went through a similar sickness in Feb. It knocked the girls and I out for a week. The girls would sleep for 4 hours in the afternoon and then still go to bed around regular time. I could barely function for a good 3 or 4 days. We were all on anti-biotics for a week. It certainly kicked us all down for a good 10 days (except for John, who managed to take care of us all). Rest and lots of movies were the only things that worked that week.
Feel better soon!
Jacoba - I love that you photographed the favorite stuffies. I need to do that!
