Without a doubt, photographing my own children is my inspiration to being a photographer. My camera stays on top of my fridge, out of reach of preschool fingers, and nice and close for me to capture every day moments with my kids. Some months are better than others…
We’ve had some beautiful bright winter sunshine. The kind that streams into your house and makes you want to clean, bake, cook and all those other household chores. When the sun streams into my house, I am also encouraged to take tons of indoor photos.

Recently had these photos printed. It’s three 11×17″ prints mounted on gator board and hung with 3m velcro strips – easy and doesn’t damage your walls!
My regret is that I didn’t print them larger. Not to worry, I have lots of walls in my house to fill!

Rachel - he is SOOOOOO cute Karin! Can’t believe how big he’s getting already. crawling? Where has the time gone? Love the shots of his feet, and him peeking over the tray. 🙂
PS Did you put up wainscotting in your dining area? Don’t remember seeing that before, but it looks good!
Karin - Yes, we put up bead board wainscoting. I was terribly frustrated with the “wall acne” and this was the only way to control it! (haha!). I’m very happy with how it turned out.
