Remember way back in June? Before school was out. Before summer. It was the last big hooray for fundraising for our school expansion. Way back in June is when the fundraising committee hosted this gala dinner. My dear friend and fellow photographer, Wenda and I were approached to work a photo booth for the event. What a hoot! The organizers put on quite a fancy fête and guests enjoyed a fine dining experience by chef Walter Togeretz. Here are some of the photos of the event!

The Vandelden’s property is perfect for photos. But they had recently mowed it. Now they know, don’t manicure your lawn for me. Even mowed, it’s still a great location for photos but as we were location scouting on their property, I saw these trees beautifully backlit by sunshine and if nothing else, I’ve learned to trust my instinct, even if it means going to the neighbours. Thank you neighbours!
We started with a mini session with Kevin and Kandy. At the end of this blog post are the Vandelden clan photos: the original reason for gathering the troops. So glad that everyone was available on such short notice and that the weather co-operated.

What an amazing location. The sun came out for a tiny bit, but mostly it rained as evidenced below. This wedding was a small intimate affair. The bride and groom wanted their photographs with horses and this property and the horses did not disappoint! Thank you for allowing me to photograph your day Tony & Colleen!
